DBP is produced by esteritying Butanol and Phthalic anhydride, DBP has excellent compatibility with PVC and hasexcellent plasticizing efficiency, A considerably low dosage is sufficient to achieve satisfactory flexibllity.lt is a generalplasticizer and often used as a gelation agent.
